Project Description

I have an existing coldfusion/dreamweaver based system using MySQL (Don't know versions). My current "programmer" works a 9 to 5 and never has time for me. I have enhancements to the existing system that need to be done immediately (just a couple of reports using existing fields that he can't get to for weeks) and plenty more to add over the next 6 months...

looking for someone fairly local to me (33433)... looking to change hosting so that I can be more in control - currently can't do a thing due to existing programmer having me "hostage" and will need a new programmer (programming firm) that can be more readily available and take over hosting and would need to coordinate with my current programmer...

Want advice as to whether to migrate to a different system/language/platform...

Current system accommodates: Order Entry, Order Searching/Editing, Order Status field updating and reporting, Document Preparation, Billing, Accounts Receivable (basic), Customer Management (basic), and Reporting -- all producing PDF documents internally. Would like to automate output of data (ODBC?) to MS Word (locally) which will then be converted to additional PDF's (Acrobat) for digital signature and certification which will then be emailed to client or uploaded to document management system (cloud)...

Looking for someone local as I developed the overall design and can more easily SHOW someone what I'd like done.

Fixed or hourly... We'll talk budget once a candidate is familiar with system. We are talking about a long term relationship.
