Project Description

We need a simple [url removed, login to view] website developing which allows customers to search for POD (proof of delivery) documents (tiff or pdf) that have been scanned into the database.

We have two SQL 2008 tables each of which contain consignment details and partial path to the file/directory. These are in a different formats as we are moving from one scanning system to another. I have attached sample data.

SourceDB1 is the new table format. The POD field contains the path to a PDF file containing the scanned PODs.
SourceDB2 is the old table format. The consSig field contains a path to a folder containing the scanned PODs in several TIF files. The ImageCount field shows the number of files.

We need a website that allows customers to logon and search for POD files using the following search fields:

1) Consignment number
2) Reference number
3) Invoice number
4) Date range (start and end date)

All this information is in the two SQL tables. We need the website to be able to search for PODs from both tables,

Results should be displayed in a grid showing:
1) Account number
2) Consignment number
3) Reference number
4) Invoice number
5) Collection Address
6) Delivery Address
7) Collection date
8) Delivery date
9) Link to POD.

Where there is more than one POD for a consignment, a pop up window should appear allowing the user to select which one to download/display.

We also need an admin page for the website where administrators can setup user logins for the site.

Each user login should have access to PODs from specific accounts so we need an admin page where we can assign accounts to different user logins. Administrators should be able to see PODs from all accounts.

We do not have a SQL table for user logins so that should be designed as part of this project,
