Project Description

This is a website for the purpose of signing up cell-phone/ Internet Users
for its service, which is for Users to subscribe to receive SMS text
messages from their choice from of a list of "Source-People". We need to
keep the "Source-Person/ Cell" anonymous and their Source-Cell number
inaccessible for Users and hackers, while creating the community of
end-Users, each with their own accounts, profiles, and list of
subscriptions.

The base functionality of the main process should work something like this:

1. Ability for "Source-Person" to text the website from their cell
phone; Then

2. Have the text posted on the website, under that Source-Persons
section, on a message board type of page; AND ALSO

3. Have that text sent to a group of Users' cell-phones, who have
subscribed (the Users must know who it is from, but NOT the Source-Cell
number); AND THEN

4. When anyone in the group-of-Users reply, to have any/ all of their
text-messages to post under the original post, for that text, from that
Source-Person, on the website AND NOT to the original phone number.

* User sign-up at website; we request their name, email address, and
cell-phone number, at least;

* They have a basic account to organize their membership, which will
expand into a profile, later;

* Users select from a list of "Source-People", from who the User
will receive texts from;

* There will be Information about each "Source-Person", and they
will have a section;

* Are all posts and replies viewable/ readable to everyone, anyone,
or just those who sign-up for that person?

I was thinking the possible use of exchange sever and notification services,
using ASP .NET Membership and SQL Server. In order to connect with each
cell companies SMS network, we need to use a short-code or gateway. This
can be done through using a commercial service, such as [url removed, login to view] or
[url removed, login to view], in contrast to developing the API of each individual
cell-company ourselves, since that would cost much more.

Again, I was thinking about the use of exchange sever and notification
services; ASP .NET Membership and SQL Server. Whatever you conclude, I need
to know the technical outline for the direction of this project and I need
to understand all the components for it completion, including any
reoccurring costs. I am confident this is a reasonable project and you will
be able to complete it by the first of the month.
