Project Description

We need a program/script that will download a complete copy of a website from archive.org. The program/script accepts 2 variables: date and domain and has to download a complete version of a full website from web.archive.org. The program/script needs to do the following:
- remove all [url removed, login to view] tags, toolbars and ads that have been injected by [url removed, login to view] in the original website’s code
- create the exact same files that made up the archived website and save them in a directory structure that resembles the structure of the archived website so that is ready to be published again. The URL Structure of the site mustn't change.
The downloaded/recreated website should be the exact same website that [url removed, login to view] has archived and must able to be uploaded to a domain and be fully functional without further code modification.
The majority of the sites where the script will be used are made up of a few pages, some images, some css files and some javascript files which should all be downloaded and placed in the exact same directory structure as they were on the archived website.

Previous experience on a similar application is preferred.

Thank you.
