Project Description

Build a C# method that uses [url removed, login to view] to return an enum containing the type of LDAP server at a given host. The user directory types must include: Active Directory SunOne Directory Server Novell eDirectory OpenLDAP Other Extra credit and possibly a bonus if it includes other types of servers such as Fedora Directory Server, etc. This would be based on the RootDSE which should tell you enough about the directory to determine its type. The method would need to take user dn, password, host, port, and whether or not to use SSL as parameters. There should also be an identical method that attempts to use integrated windows authentication rather than passing in a user DN and password.
