Project Description

I need a way to access a website, login to the website, and retrieve information from the website. I need to be able to do this from an ASP or [url removed, login to view](VB) page.

I can modify the code to suit my specific needs if someone can lay the foundation for me. I am familiar with ASP, and NOT familiar with ASP.NET. If you believe .NET is a better option, I'm all ears.

I also need to be able to navigate (follow hyperlinks) around the site and retrieve information from various select pages on the website.

To give you an idea of what this is for: We have several partners we frequently work with. We have logins to each of our partner's websites and would like to build our own custom webpage to interface to all of our partner's sites.

The code needs to be clean, well-organized, and include a reasonable amount of comments.

## Deliverables

I would expect these following items, in addition to the default items listed below:

a) A VERY simple 3-page website (for testing only, no aesthetic formatting required). Page 1 will have a username field, password field, and a submit button. Page 2 will ONLY be seen if a user successfully logs in from Page 1 (Page 2 should NOT be accessible directly). Page 2 will contain a hyperlink to Page 3 (also not accessible directly). Pages 2 and 3 can contain any random text. This 3-page website should be written in HTML, ASP/[url removed, login to view], and Javascript.

b) Any and all HTML, ASP/[url removed, login to view], and Javascript code necessary to navigate the above 3-page website. I should be able to use this code to login to Page 1, retrieve the random text off of Page 2, navigate to Page 3 via the hyperlink, and retrieve the random text off of Page 3.

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

## Platform

This code needs to run on Windows Server 2003 in IIS. It will be used by various people on the Internet, so all major web-browsers (IE, AOL, Mozilla). The clients will be running a combination of Windows, MAC, and Linux.
