Project Description

We are looking to develop a Magento script/Module that automatically logs in registered customers. A link will be emailed to activated customers, with which they should be able to log in without submitting their password/email.

## Deliverables

Magento Automatic Customer Login

I am looking for a Magento specialist to help with some modifications to an e-commerce website that is in development. I myself am a developer who runs a software business that does mostly PHP & Magento work.

Background:?

This project has been designed and is about 75% built. This is a private sales site at which only customers who have received invitations by email can shop. We will populate our existing Magento database with complete, activated customer accounts.

The task involves creating:?

1) a link with a unique ID that can be sent to each customer (We will handle the emailing - we just need the link).

2) a script/module that automatically logs-in in customers who click on this link. In other words, it skips over the login/password box.

3) a flag in the Magento ordering process that tells us that a customer has come to the site via an email.

We will populate our Magento database with activated customer accounts.

You should have experience working with Magento which you can demonstrate through sample urls and a code sample or two. You musy know how to develop without touching the Magento core files.

I have regular Magento work and would like to build a relationship with a develop on eLance.

I can speak English (native), French or Russian.

Thank you.
