A social networking website - we expect to integrate with and use existing modules of open source PHP where possible.
Standard Social Networking features include:
Personal Profile (basic)
Video / Photo upload and gallery and viewing platform
Friends, contacts and messaging services.
Community / forums.
Non standard features - features specific to our site:
Personal Diary - Blog type feature included in profile.
Personal Log - Personal archive tool - ability to upload / view screenshots from external sites)
Business profiling - similar to personal profile functionality.
Specific location search - specific location database. User generated details, community function, specific location photo and video integration,
content to be moderated.
Site will be driven largely by advertising space - this may need to beconsidered from the outset that advertising space needs to integrate
with geographic map search function.
Above all else, above all else the site navigation is to be based on a geographic mapping system. Geographic levels will be defined by user selections and will determine page results and integration points.
The design and front end of the website will be taken care of by us and worked on in conjunction with the developer.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
