Project Description

This is a small project and should be easy for a Javascript coder. I have code for a small eBay image gallery ([url removed, login to view]). It makes a gallery with one large image, and smaller images below that will take the place of the larger image with a rollover. It works well. I need the code modified so it will include the URL for actual thumbnails, instead of a resized larger image, as the gallery. The code WILL NOT CREATE thumbnails, just edit the URL so it points to the existing thumbnail image The code needs to take the image URL and put a modified version where the thumbnail is supposed to be. It should be able to take the URL [url removed, login to view] and..: - Add a suffix to the end of the filename ([url removed, login to view]) - Add a subdirectory directly before the filename ([url removed, login to view]) OR - Add a subdirectory and suffix ([url removed, login to view]) The code should be well notated so we can choose how the resulting filename should be edited. I've included sample code that does this: ([url removed, login to view]). Since this has to work on eBay and with our eBay management program, there are a few restrictions: - The main code works well. It counts how many pictures there are and makes a table based in that information. It works well - we don't want to mess with it. - Javascript won't be in the head area. Our current script will make a table wherever it's put into the description. - Our auction management program provides the image URL as TrimHTML([[Picture1]]). When it's posted to ebay, it will show as the actual URL. - The resulting code must work with eBay. eBay can be a little picky with what kind of Javascript they accept. The original code is acceptable by eBay, so you'll want to keep the additions fairly simple. Requirements: - Fully functional and eBay acceptable code that works with our software - Due within 14 days (plenty of time!)
