We need a website developing for a high profile hotel. The site will need to be clean and simple, as well as professional and inviting. It will need to have a full admin and CMS backend, where content can easily be updated/changed through a standard wysiwyg interface ??" as well as the ability to set ‘draft’ versions of pages so that they can be reviewed before going live, and to schedule pages to come online ??" i.e., I may wish to design a page layout for an event happening next week, and would want that page to come online automatically at a specified time. The homepage will need to have easily updateable news articles, event calendars, and so forth. It should be easy to do this for non-technical staff. We want a full visitor tracking system, which gives us information on: Number of visitors Visitors by browser Visitor by page Referrers to the web site Search engines used and search keywords used to access the site Site search words used including words providing ‘no results’ Visitors by IP address (where the Nationality of the user can be determined) Visitors by user friendly URL, e.g. /products The site will have (at least) the following key sections: Homepage Facilities Conference facilities/Meeting rooms Accommodation/Bedrooms Room rates and specials Location map About the area Contact us information Events Latest offers Other site features Site search ??" A keyword site search. All content within the site is automatically indexed and is searchable. Note: One of the site Reports will be ‘site search words’ ??" specifically highlighting words that delivered no results. This can be useful in review site keywords and product descriptions. Homepage features ??" The homepage should contain a ‘latest’ section that could automatically list out the most recent content additions to the web site. Site map ??" A simple listing of all web pages on the site that can be used for user navigation but more importantly for Google (or other search engines) index the site’s content.
