PacGenesis is building a Sales-driven, product focused business with an emphasis on selling Rational software bundled with our solutions and services. We have 3 product offerings: Training, Technology & Process.
We need someone to design the UI for our online training platform. The portal will be customized for each customer engagement. Individuals can login and access materials that are suited to their particular role within the organization. Material can be accessed 24/7 so each person can learn on their own schedule.
RTC users will be our audience. This includes developers, analysts, project managers and stakeholders who are involved in their organizations roll-out of RTC.
An online training platform that can be accessed 24/7. PacGenesis administrators will choose material from the general catalog in order to tailor the content for each customer. Employees will login and be prompted to review materials that have been configured based on their job function.
There should be (at minimum) 3 page levels. The main homepage will have a navigation that lists the course topics. The second level will include a list of items associated to the topic and the third level will host the material which will include of videos, tutorials and presentations. This site can serve as a template: [url removed, login to view]
We take a broad approach to Source Control Management (SCM) by focusing on Technology, Training & Process. Because all 3 pillars are imperative to a successful adoption.
We’ve found that by focusing on the output in RTC, we can replicate our approach so that other businesses can follow in our footsteps to seamlessly manage their own adoption project. Call it a franchise, a business-model, or a trademark…. basically we have the key to success and we want to share it with others.
Our training is developed by developers, for developers. We focus on the basics of SCM: checking code out, making changes and checking code back in. Our goal is to teach developers the fundamental features of RTC before adding more complex features.
