Project Description

I'm converting a website created in PHPCake to Java Wicket, all the frontend is already done, a big part of the code in Java Wicket is also working, the data model is also done.

The criteria for completion will be that the areas of:

Blogger profile: e.g [url removed, login to view]
Front page: [url removed, login to view]
View and comment Post: e.g [url removed, login to view]

What I need is someone to help me with some of the elements that I'm converting from PHPCake to Java Wicket (All the javascript will be reusable), I'll discuss the work to be done element by element and file by file, authentication is already provided, and multiple pages (like admin part of the website) are already done and can be taken as examples, db and data are provided as well, pom to be able to compile provided.

Persistence is just SQL, using Service Classes with JDBCTemplates (Spring) that are already created and will only need minor modifications.

The successful candidate will be sharing a SVN with me while I work in other areas of the web, I'll be able to answer questions from the programmer.

No need of PHP or PHPCake knowledge required, the functionality is obvious in the PHP code and the website to replicate is live in [url removed, login to view]

This needs to be completed in 2 months.

On successful completion of the this project, loads more of work available.
