Project Description

This is a small job in which you would be working alongside another programmer on our new social mapping site - mapme.com. For this part of the project, we need someone to help work on some Javascript info window features to help streamline them, include transitions between a small info window and the extended entry infobubble which contains tabs. The layout for the larger infobubble popup is available in maps/views/[url removed, login to view] with the corresponding function in maps_controller, infobubble() - this prepares the data for sending to the infobubble layout The smaller infobubble layout is controlled via javascript, in the [url removed, login to view] file, in the function showInfoWindow() This function is passed an object which is either a pointer to a marker object or a trail object (in the JS object containers [url removed, login to view] and [url removed, login to view] which are referenced using the variable JS_uid - a unique identifier for the current session which allows manipulation of specific markers/trails via the left-hand panel, and through clicking actions). We need them to look as least good as the Google map windows in local search and smoothness and transition are especially important. Please see the examples attached for an example (this is what we have now). Specific requirements will be discussed with the winning coder - including the integration of an icon set that we've already designed.
