Project Description

We are looking for programmers with experience in Java technology, social networking and web design to create a website clone of “[url removed, login to view]” using Java instead of PHP. For this project we will not include the chat portion of the website. We will be adding chat later as a separate project.

Technical Requirements and Specifications

o Java EE 5 Application running on Glassfish 2.1.1 Server.
o The application must use Java specifications like EJB, JPA, JSF.
o The “Web Tier” must be developed with IceFaces 1.8.2.a. open source version.
o MySQL 5 must be the RDBM.
o Business Tier must be implemented with EJB3 using annotations.
o Must be developed using NetBeans 6.8 IDE.
o Each class must be technically documented along with its relevant methods.
o Best design practices and standards must be employed - must use Java Blueprints by Sun.

Basic Requirements
o Excellent communication skills in English writing and speaking.
o Project to be completed 3 to 4 months after signed agreement on scope of work.
o Payment through Scriptlance escrow only.
o Please provide your specific experience with each of the following programming technologies: Java Web Development, ICEFaces Framework, JavaEE 5 (Persistence API, glassfish deployment, EJBs), MySQL.
o Please provide your specific experience with each of the following types of websites: social networking, membership subscriptions and payments, credit card and Paypal payments etc.
o This project is for highly experienced and qualified developers only. Do not bid if you do not have the requirements.
