I need a PSD sliced and coded manually to clean and W3C valid XHTML/CSS. I have a very organized zip folder including a large layered PSD file with one common layout (background, header, footer, etc.) and about 8 "pages" where sidebar and main content is different per page, though much of it is repetition.?

**Basic Requirements:**

* Fast page loading with optimized graphics and layout
* Cross browser compatibility
* Pixel perfect markup
* SEO optimized, semantic, simple, clean, re-usable code
* Excellent communication: native-level English, contact via Skype
* Fast, smooth and clean image rotation (jquery/js)

## Deliverables

**Further Details:**

The PSD is a re-design of an existing web app built in Rails and Jquery. You will see where the common layout is and which elements are variable. You will need to use the existing external CSS file and HTML layout and selectors as a basis for the coding. Any changes to existing selectors or variable elements should be minimal and will need to be well commented for easy modification of the existing Rails code, which I will do myself.

Home page design (attached) includes an image rotation element, and should probably be coded with a jquery plugin (though some say flash may work too, I'm skeptical). I may want the rotation (if it involves costly ajax uploads from the server) to be triggered by mouse movement, but this seems fairly trivial.

You do not need to know Rails, but an understanding of how Rails (and other MVC development systems) generates "pages" from a layout and various views will probably be helpful. I will be available for any questions about technical issues and site functionalities. You must be willing to ask - for example, about rollover states, display rules for dynamic content, etc. You must be proud of your quality, and interested in applying your own creativity and experience to make the site better, friendlier and more usable.

Good practices will need to be followed: manual coding of valid, semantic XHTML/CSS, not using form tags in your code, not using CSS resets, not applying any styles to global selectors, coding common classes when possible, well commented code, using HTML and CSS (colors, borders, background, etc.) wherever possible instead of images, etc.

**If interested in this job:**

Please include 5 links to live websites in your proposal that demonstrate the quality of your coding skill, and that conform to W3C validated XHTML. If you have a working image rotation element, please include a link to one or more. Please estimate the maximum delivery time for this job. Feel free to ask any question necessary to place an accurate bid.
