Project Description

Looking for a developer with experience with phpFOX and excellent skills with PHP, MySQL, JavaScript/jQuery and some LAMP administration.

The project is based on phpFOX, where the web site is already up and running and with most of the design work already done. The web sites needs certain special modules programmed and a lot of tweaking and GUI work to make it user-friendly and search engine friendly.

Initially, there will be some work implementing features like a news page (with admin interface and integration with the phpFOX Events section), Google Maps (in a more specific way than what's already in phpFOX) and other custom features. When the web site is launched, we will need help administering it, and there will be more development along the way, like a payment solution.

It is important that you are able to communicate well in English and that you are available on relatively short notice if anything should go wrong after launching the site. Experience with preventing hacking is a plus. Must have experience with programming within the framework of phpFOX, as we want the code to be flexible and correct, MVC-wise. Any custom code must integrate into some sort of a language solution, so it is easy to switch the web site's language.

Also, we have the mobile version of phpFOX which will need lots of attention. Experience with making attractive mobile web sites or apps is a plus.

This web site has great potential traffic-wise, so there is a possibility for having work for a long time ahead.
