Project Description

My community is looking at expanding. Currently it is running purely off Xenforo, but I would like to expand functionality whilst keeping the forums powered by Xenforo.

What I need:

I am in need of a bridge that will store users on the JomSocial side of things (username, e-mail, avatar, password, etc). I need Xenforo to be able to fetch this data to allow users to post on the forums.

Features Required:

Xenforo automatically grabs all information from the JomSocial users account and updates it as it changes. (Username, password, avatar, e-mail, custom fields)

Xenforo has its own alerts system which I want ported to the JomSocial alerts system. All alerts through the JomSocial site and the Xenforo forums are to display in the JomSocial alerts system, as the Xenforo alerts system will no longer be used. This will include linking to alerted content, etc.

Xenforo has a few good addons that are in use, these must also work with the bridge, such as @tagging users to alert the user.

Any addons installed in Xenforo must work in conjunction with the bridge. Again, it is to get the user data from JomSocial.

Xenforo is to have its own user permission settings. Users should be placed into the "registered" usergroup in Xenforo when users register on the JomSocial site. However, allowing the user into secondary usergroups in Xenforo is a must. If possible, usergroups should also be shared between JomSocial and Xenforo.

JomSocial's activity stream should also include the activity stream provided by Xenforo. This includes users posting a new thread, replying to a thread, "liking" content using the Xenforo "like" system, etc.

Xenforo will ditch its own user profile menu, and instead take on JomSocials user profiles. The JomSocial user profiles should also have tabs listing the users forum activity.

Both systems must work with ArrowChat.
