Project Description

Dear freelancer,
we are looking for a freelancer or company helping us to realize the website nowihelp.
Nowihelp will be a non-profit social website where user can register and publish non-profit social projects. Similar to [url removed, login to view]
Users can choose a social project and support it or publish own projects.

Overview
========
Altogether we have about 50 pages – around 10 more complex dynamic pages, around 20 easier dynamic pages (login, ...) and 20 static pages.
Special things:
- There is an administration area for projects, reports, patrons, news, user, Payouts.
- And a basic right management - superAdmin (over all countries), countryAdmin (access to everything on one website/domain or country), projectAdmin, … (separate access to admin areas)
- Website is multisite (Website can be used by different separated countries / domainnames. All user, projects, … are completely separated – so it shouldn’t be too complex).
- Website is one language at the beginning but must be prepared to be Multilanguage and localized.
- eMail spooling: there a triggers (eg. a user delete a project that is not fully funded OR Active member that do have zero Adviews for more than 7 days) where eMails need to be generated to a lot of user. Therefor we need email templates and sending using a kind of spooling (first store eMails in filesystem or DB and send it later)
- Pool project – special project if user didn’t choose a specific project or project is fully funded and user was assigned to that project before
- Caching is very important
- Formhandling (with tooltips, error messages, JS errorcheck, server validation, …), integration of CKEdit, XSS, … protection using whitelist, …

Technology
=========
Everything must be based on:
- Yii – it’s important to use Yii way of doing for security, authentication, errorhandling, logging, testing, …
- bootstrap (latest release 3) and a readymade bootstrap template that must be modified only a little bit
- PHP
- Mysql
- jQuery
- CSS/LESS
- hosted by Amazon AWS

What I will make available
=====================
- clickable prototype with a detailed concept
- basic design and all graphical elements – almost everything is bootstrap / jQuery based with the a ready made template
- basic database concept (mySql Workbench model – but not all attributes and relations are defined)
- access to issue / bug tracking
- you have always someone to talk to and ask whatever you need

Timing
======
It should be possible to start working on the website at around 9th of Sep. 2013.
Soft launch should be end of year - 20th of Dec. 2013
We can define milestones and payments together.

Requirements
===========
- solid experiences in programming bigger applications using Yii, PHP, bootstrap / jQuery, and mySQL
- some experiences using Amazon AWS (S3, EC2, ElastiCache, SES, …)
- It should be possible, that you send me the source code of a demo application you’ve done before that is using the basic technologies (Yii, Bootstrap / jQuery, …) – something that includes a multilanguage form, validation, DB-Access (read, write, update), user verification, ... - E.g. Register, login to a website and edit the profile if user is logged in.

nowihelp is not a small website – but if you have advanced experiences with Yii, bootstrap and jQuery, … it shouldn’t be too complicated…

If you are interested and have time for the project please send a PM with some information about you and demo code and I’ll send further information.

I would be glad to hear from you…

THANK YOU + best Regards
Marko
