Ongoing Project: Wordpress Customizations

I am searching for a person I can work with on an ad-hoc basis for small changes to a Wordpress website. I hired a fantastic developer a few years ago and enjoyed working with him, but he is working on larger projects now so I am searching for someone new that can help! The sorts of things I need help with, from time-to-time, would be requests from the website administrators. Sometimes they see things that are, or are not working in our current customized template (Valera) and want changes made. To give an example: the theme we are using automatically shows News stories on the front page. I'd like to have the back-end modified so we could select which news stories show on the front page - not all of them as it currently stands. We would also like to create a news archive page, accessible from the news page. The changes must be coded so that Wordpress upgrades do not un-due your work, and the template views the same in all major internet browsers. There will be other projects, and clients, that with your permission I will refer you to if you can do these sorts of things!
