Project Description

**NOTE**
We will ONLY consider proposals from independent developers who possess all the skills and experience outlined in the description below and who have proven track record here on Elance.

Project Background
--------------------------
We have an Alpha Mobile IPad App that we need to extend with more features and migrate to a full Web Browser experience. We seek an affordable, highly skilled developer that can help us get this product to market, and fast!

Here are the details:

Introduction
------------
We have created a hybrid mobile application that communicates through a RESTful API with our backend provider ( Stackmob ), that is packaged using Phonegap under a Mac environment running Apple's IDE XCode.

Application components
----------------------
The application uses different resources for templating, styling and client-server architecture.

Templating:
For templating, the application is currently using Haml & Handlebars.js.

Styling:
For styling, the application is using a preprocessor called Sass, which compiles into CSS, using some extra helpers from the Compass framework for Sass.

Client Server:
As client-side architecture, we are using jQuery with [url removed, login to view], and some dependencies such as Underscore.js.

UI / Visualizations:
For the charts we render in the app we're using the library called Chart.js. For touch support on iOS we are using Quo.js. For dragging visual icons in our app we use jQuery UI with a plugin that support events for touch devices. Scrolling is handled by native implementations on iOS, and for older versions of iOS we use a plugin that falls back to a JS implementation of scrolling, that's called Overthrow.js. To communicate with the backend, we use a modified version of [url removed, login to view] provided by Stackmob.

Server Side:
As for the server-side architecture, we are using Stackmob as a BaaS, which provides us with a JavaScript library to make the client-server communication easier to implement.

Packaging
---------
The assets of the web application get compiled and compressed using a tool called Nanoc, that helps us automate the process of creating a production-ready build of the application. After compiling the assets, we put them inside of the iOS application, in a packaging process that involves using Phonegap as a web-view plugin inside of the application project file, all of this running inside of XCode.
