Project Description

Hi Freelancers,

We currently have a website were users log in and is authenticated against our Microsoft Active Directory, and then they get access to the website if user exist. Now we want more functionality

All our users have their profiles (roaming profile) saved on a server in our local network, these profile folders are all share on the network and accessible to their specific user. We also have a few folders that are accessible to most of the users, but some of the folders are access restricted, so if a user tries to access it they are denied access. Therefore, the permissions have to work the same way on the web

We want it so that when our user’s log into the site then the website remembers their username and password that they typed, they then click on a cool and fancy icon on the page that takes them to a new page, icon must be made by freelancer. In this page, they automatically get logged inn with same username and password that the website remembered when they first logged inn. In this page, they will see their profile folder, and the shared folders that everyone can see, just because they can see a shared folder does not mean they have access,

On top of that, we have a web mail [url removed, login to view]
We want this email to be available and accessible on this very same page, so when users get to the page...he should already be signed inn to his account and can start seeing his email and work on it. Not sure if you want to use I frame and just show the mail page in it or use a custom email client into the web page, but it should have the same functionality as our webmail (Outlook Web access) regardless. Whatever solution you go with it should look professional and sleek.

The page that shows this information should have a clean and modern design; I will send a few suggestions that you can work with.
It should be possible for (admin) to decide what shared folders to be shown to the users or not, but the profile (roaming profile) folder for each user should be there always. We should also have the option to show a select user’s folder or folders that we do not want others to be able to see.

When the user sees the folders and files, he should be able to drag and drop file to the folder (on the web) from the desktop and from the desktop to the folder (on the web)
If he has a word file that is now visible on the web, he should be able to open it directly with whatever program he might have locally on his pc.

Freelancer should fix bugs with no extra charge, since we expect the developer to test and make sure the solution work to specification.

Bidder/freelancer who bids within a reasonable budget and gives a short summery on how they will solve this will prioritized, drive by bids will be ignored.

Happy bidding
