Project Description

Hello, thanks to all who check this bid out.

I am from an online gaming clan and we are growing too fast. All of our servers (9+ servers) are constantly full of people and we hear complaing all the time about not having a website. So our council has come together to find a programmer/designer who will work with us to make the best clan/community website there is. The site will incorporate vBulletin as much as possible.

We need the following:
The main page will be as general as possible. Links to the subsections for each game we play (see below). General News with category icons for each news release we have (servers, game specific, general, breaking, ect). Latest downloads, Latest forum topics,

We are a multi-gaming clan, so our site has to incorporate all the games we play. Each game will have its own subsection with its own template design, main news, articles, tutorials, downloads, forums, server scopes, ect.

Downloads Area
Main page will have most downloaded, latest downloads, and links to the subsection of each game (categories)

Adminstrative
We will have news writers, article writers, so we need to be able to give them some sort of access to be able to do this.

Articles / Tutorials
These will be to be categorized and be able to be edited ect. Categories will be in table format, easily navigatable, drop-down list wouldn't hurt either (like vB forums)

Server Scopes,
Server scopes tell you who is in the game server, what map they are on, a picture of the map, download link to the map, what the scores are, and a link to lauch you into that server.

All of this sounds like your regular forum portal, and I know there are free scripts out there for sites such as this, but we want something that cannot be reproduced, something that people haven't see before. We plan on following through with this project until all of us are happy and has met our specifications.

We have more we'd like to see, will need to be talked about with our programmer.

Thanks for giving us a read and happy bidding.
