Project Description

Hello there. This should be a pretty simple thing to build.
The site will be used to manually rate the quality of different documents according to preset criteria in five different categories.

------------

1. Rate mode. Refer to the mockup file pbrev_rate_mode.

The site will be installed in a protected area and there's no need to add user management.

Sidebar:
- Link to View Mode
- Link to Edit Defaults Mode
- Link to Add Document. This can just open a popup where the user submits a document name and clicks Create. The document is added to the list of documents.
- List of all documents.

Main content (for a document):

Each category has several criteria.
Each criteria has one negative value ("1" in the mockup) and one positive value ("2" in the mockup). The user will select (using the radio buttons) which one best describes the document. So one criteria might have the positive value "This document is gramatically correct" and the negative value "You need to revise the grammer in this document".

The user must be able to easily edit negative value. This will occur for instance when the user wants to add a clarification to the text. Example: "You need to revise the grammer in this document. There are several errors in the second paragraph." Note: For editing, I'm thinking something like this: [url removed, login to view]

The user can revert the negative value to the default (see the "Revert" text link at the end of each negative value).

Each criteria also has an importance value (the number to the left on each criteria). When the user selects positive criteria, the percentage ("3" in the mockup) for the category and for the total increases. This is calculated as a percentage. Example from category 1 in the mockup: The total importance value in the category is 86 and one criteria is selected as positive with a value of 13. The percentage for the category would be 13/86 = 15%.

When the user has selected a value for all of the criteria he can save.

------------

2. Edit Defaults Mode. Refer to the mockup file pbrev_editdefaults_mode.

Here the user can edit the default positive and negative values, and the importance value. Editing should be done simply by clicking the value to modify.

The user can also delete an existing criteria ("1" in the mockup) and add a new criteria ("2" in the mockup).

Radio buttons and percentages are removed from this view since they make no sense here.

Saving the default values also changes values in previously rated documents. Except for negative values that have been edited by the user.

------------

3. View Mode. Refer to the mockup file pbrev_view_mode.

This mode uses a slightly different styling.

Only the negative values are displayed for each category.
