Project Description

My client has an existing html website that needs to be redesigned on a Drupal platform. They are currently using [url removed, login to view] for their events management and membership management. They want to stop using Wild Apricot and have all the following features under their website. Here is what they need:

• We basically need someone to build the Drupal framework. We can enter the content.
• New layout and color scheme – I will take care of the new look and feel and color scheme and you will code it in Drupal
• Membership application – They are currently using Wild Apricot for their membership registration process
• Members Only section - They want their membership application to be under their website and members register once and use their username and password to gain access to a members only section with shared documents, notes, reports, etc.
• Membership directory - Access to an up-to-date on-line searchable database of current members. Members can communicate with their colleagues in nearby cities and across the country. Their membership directory is being hosted by Wild Apricot
• Events and Conference registration
• Welcome newsletter to newly registered members
• Newsletter to other registered members
• Links to members’ websites - Access to a list of links to publicly-accessible websites about the individual programs and services operated by our members. These links are helpful to anyone thinking about designing or redesigning a website about their program, and also provide some insight about how other schools are using the internet to help provide visitor and campus information services more effectively
• Job Postings - Access to an on-line listing of jobs for professional, support and student positions from member institutions across the country.
• Discussion forums/list serve
• Mobile friendly website – they want to be able to access the website on smartphones and other devices
• They are using [url removed, login to view] for hosting which is a good hosting company and I recommended that they stay there.
• Search engine friendly pages
• Cross browser compatibility
• Social media integration – Add Facebook “Like” box
• Feedback forms with CAPTCHA code
• Site search functionality
