New website (and possibly a database) needed for an electrical contracting and air conditioning business.
There is a current website but it is of poor quality and needs to be updated.

Background information
I operate a simple organisation, we complete mostly electrical work for real estate agents (large organisations), some construction work, and individual customers who may use us for once off jobs or return individual customers who may us occasionally eg 1 time /2 years
Currently when a customer has a job they phone/email the order through, the job is assigned by the supervisor to a worker and is completed, an invoice/work report is filled out, scanned and then emailed back to the customer.
Some of the details of these invoices are manually entered into a spreadsheet and this summary is occasionally emailed to customers to outline invoices that are unpaid.

We would like to integrate this process into a website with a simple account tracking system to improve customers interaction with the business. this process is envisaged to become larger and more complicated in future revisions of this website/database so future work may be an option.


Things I think we need:

We need to present a professional appearance.
I would like the current website home page to be updated as a priority before any other work commences. This can be a professional looking layout (generic template is fine) this home page needs to indicate that the website is being updated. (the website design can be changed again once the project is complete or as progress is made on the job)
Ability to view website on different formats and be functional, eg tablets, phones etc
Ability for a customer (current or new) to log on and log a work order or request a quote (see attached) when customer logs a job/quote the information is sent via email to the supervisor for job allocation.
Ability for a customer to log on and view their account/details eg list of jobs completed, outstanding, etc
Ability for me to log on and view all, and or individual customer jobs in a list that shows completed and outstanding jobs etc
Ability for me to view current/historical job addresses on google maps to graphically view location of current/completed jobs for all or selected customers (possibly allow customer to view their job locations as well)
Ability for me to add private info (only viewable to MTB Services admin) to a customer account or job location for future reference. eg: quality customer, provide discount for next job, dogs a problem with access, do not complete work for customer as they not paid invoice, tenant is not home to allow access to house. etc (perhaps allow for upload of photos movies etc)

I am open to ideas and options I have not thought about, ongoing work is a strong possibility depending upon the work completed.
