Project Description

My company is Souvenir Photography.
We take photos of people in Bars, Nightclubs, Restaurants etc. we directly sell these images as Framed Photographs, Keyrings or Fridge Magnets. We produce these instantly. Photographers and Venue Owners earn commission on a per item basis for physical products only (we do not pay commission on ANY online sale). The photos are then uploaded to a website where they can be purchased as a Digital Copy(Download) or a hard copy can be ordered in various formats. We work accross multiple locations in the UK and Spain.

We currently have an OpenCart website, however, we have now far outgrown this software - our MySQL servers keep crashing with the load!

We now need to upgrade our site to accommodate heavy traffic.

Images will be kept online for life.

We also want to add a Social Network Platform to the site...A full description follows:

Public Site:
Most importantly, the website is there to encourage sales - an online photo store.
When a user logs on to site, they will be presented with an option to select Location.
When location is selected, user will be presented with an option to select the Venue they had there photo taken in.
When Venue is selected, user will be presented with dated albums. ie.
Blackpool (Location) -> Funny Girls (Venue) -> Friday 25th May
When album is selected, all photos to be shown in a grid layout (similar to facebook albums)
When image selected, display image in 'pop-up'(like facebook) with options to purchase a Download or Hard Copy.
- This is the bare bones.

We would also like to give users the ability to log in to the site and create a public profile.
Users can login with their facebook login details.
User's Full Name is Used (like facebook)
User will be presented with a 'News Feed' on login....News feed only contains stories about New Albums, Friends Photo Tags, comments on photos of them.
Users can NOT update status
Users can intereact with each other - add friends, send messages to each other
Users will be able to 'Tag' photos
Users will be able to Comment on photos
Users can 'check-in' at a venue.
Users can create an 'event' at a venue and invite friends.
Users can NOT upload images.
Users can share images to Facebook

We will eventually run competitions, ie, the most travelled user (most check-ins / tags accross multiple locations) prizes will be Free Image Download Credits.

Our photographers will be able to log into the site.
Photographers wil have the same capabilities as the public users. +
Photographers can upload albums.
Photographers can input daily takings figures. *
Photographers can 'claim' a photo - (when user clicks an image a photographer has claimed, public user will be told which photographer took their picture.)
Photographer will have a work schedule/calendar (be able to request days off/see when/where they will be working.

Our Venue owners will be able to log into the site.
Venue Owners wil have the same capabilities as the public users. +
Venue Owners can view their commission / how many items were sold at the venue
Venue Owners will have an events calendar on their page.
Venue Owners can post 'Status Updates' which will appear on their public news feed.

Venue Pages will have editable fields that the Venue Owner can update ie. description etc.

the site will have advertising which we should be able to track on a pay per click or pay per impression basis.

There is obviously a lot of work to this site but this is an initial summary of what we actually require!

This is a large project - Could you please get back to me with a estimated price - Timescale is very tight! as i mentioned, our current website keeps failing and we are experiencing a lot of downtime!
