Project Description

What I need is an extension for opencart that will allow me to import a product list with a CSV file upload. The CSV file will be in the form of one single fixed URL that will point to the latest version of the CSV file. I need the extension to upload all the products from the CSV file (and match up the different categories and information in the csv file to be shown correctly in opencart). The products will change on a weekly basis so I either need some solution that will update itself regularly (weekly) or something where i can go into the admin and click 'Update Products' to refresh the CSV product imports. This will need to automatically create the required categories, manufacturers, brands, prices, pictures and any other info in the CSV file. When I update the CSV file of products it will need to delete/replace all old products in the website's database so that nothing is duplicated by mistake (but ONLY to replace/delete the products that were created from the last csv upload and leave any other products that I've uploaded manually as they are). I need this to be a very clean extension that doesn't take too long to update as there will be anything from 10,000 to 50,000 products in the CSV file so it must be able to handle any number of products. Also on the admin page I need a simple list of the times and dates of the last 10 updates (in a plain simple list with date, time, number of products uploaded). If you have done something like this before then please let me know so I can check out previous work.
