Project Description

Hello,

We currently using a template company for our website. Although I do enjoy seeing Flash, I know that it will not work for every computer/mobile user trying to view my site and images. Please check out our current site at www.astorybookimage.com. I am looking for someone to redesign the site... keeping in mind the following:

• Eliminate flash but still provide the ability to look at the work from our artists (on separate pages like it is now); each "artist" page should not only include their photos, but also a paragraph bio
• Include links to our Facebook (maybe even add a box for a direct comment), Twitter, YouTube, and [url removed, login to view] Blog on each page - make contact page very easy to use... should be easy to get in touch with us through many different ways – possibly use news feed/rrs feed to get back to blog
• Allow our brides to submit their testimonials directly onto the site... but give us the ability to approve/edit it before they go online
• Include website optimization text... we are currently on the second or third page on google, but need to move up to the top
• We would like to add video samples to the website... not sure how to embed these into the site... maybe use vimeo
• Add logos for the two or three bridal association affiliations on bottom or side
• Keep partnership section (understanding that you need additional content from me)
• Simple navigation and great contact info on each page
• Portfolio of past weddings page
• In terms of the design, we would like it to look like a magazine or an editorial page
• Consistent color pattern throughout site
• Design a simple mobile version of the site for iPad/phone users
• We hate the way our clients have to scroll through text to see all of it… please make it easy to read on the screen
• ‪We want to make sure that there is a way for us to easily add/remove photos/video/content on our own after the site is up
• Use wordpress or some system designed for non-developers to update
• Be available for questions or minor changes once the site is up… we want to be sure that everything is working properly and flows nicely

Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
