Project Description

We are in search of a bright, innovative freelancer to help develop a start-up website that is focused on covering football in the Southeastern Conference. It will be a website to host breaking news, deliver news in multiple platforms (text, photo, video, audio), and also have a user-friendly forum for fan communication.

We would like to have sections for all 14 teams (all would look the same, just need a different name/logo), as well as other sections created for things like rosters, history, standings, etc. News from the 14 sections would stream chronologically on the front page.

The domain and hosting site have been selected and purchased for this website, and the initial setup of WordPress is complete.

If you are able to create a publisher friendly format that does not use WordPress and can make a good argument for moving away from WordPress, we are certainly willing to listen on that.

We are also in search of a good graphics design person, so if you are able to create two or three graphics high quality graphics that will be the face of the website in addition to building the website-- you move to the top of the list.

There will be much more detail on what we are looking for and a sample layout, but for purposes of protecting the website's concept, we are withholding that information for later discussion.
