Project Description

We run a website which requires member registration. We have recently added a forums section based on vBulletin. When members have registered for the main site, they can have access to the forums. This is achieved through an API.

Although the forums work OK generally, we need some changes and additions. These will require a developer with good vBulletin experience. We need someone who has very good understanding of vB coding – not just a basic knowledge of the admincp functions.

Three issues in particular need to be fixed:

1. The forum's own internal task scheduler is malfunctioning, so that tasks such as updating View Count will not run, although set within admincp. This needs to be corrected.

2. The “Forum actions” check box on threads is missing, so we cannot (for example) make a thread sticky, or mark it for other actions, even as a moderator.

3. Some links between the forums and the main site are wrong. This will need an extension and change to the API.
Please do not bid for this project unless you are an experienced vB developer with good knowledge of vB coding.
