Project Description

I have a Wordpress theme which is built around RSS. It's called OneNews. It allows you to create unlimited feeds and categorize them as needed (i.e. Sports, Technology). It looks like Alltop/PopURLs.

My goal was/is to create a more social experience for the feeds by allowing user comments, bookmarks/favorites, etc

I had posted this job and hired a coder based on the ability to make this a wordpress theme. Some coders initially told me this was impossible due to having to write to a new database, but the coder I selected told me it was possible. However, in the end it turned out not to be a WP theme.

So here's the deal. If you believe you can modify this as an existing WP theme to allow comments, favorites, etc - please let me know and bid.

Remember. This is important. THIS NEEDS TO BE A WP THEME - meaning, the final result needs to be a WP .zip file and simply uploaded via Wordpress dashboard and activated. Period. Not ftp entire site, setup database, rename config files, install plugins, etc.

Formatting: Currently the OneNews theme shows three blocks of news across for each row - with unlimited rows. Like AllTop.

I would like this to be combined into one RSS stream for each category, meaning if your sources are CNN, BBC, ABC for home page category, the home page will be one stream of all the feeds, mixed together (CNN, BBC, ABC). They will appear in order based on timestamp of news item push. Think of the stream just like the Facebook news feed.
