Project Description

I have a vbulletin 4.2 site with a wordpress 3.5 frontend, I have VBSSO installed to bridge the user accounts between vbulletin and wordpress, however I also want to link the wordpress blog to the vbulletin site.

I need a Wordpress plugin that will automatically create a thread in the vbulletin forum when a post is published to the blog. The permalink for the blog post should take the user to the thread in vbulletin. The comment count on the wordpress pages should display the number of replies to the thread in vbulletin. The author link should link to the authors profile on vbulletin, although I believe VBSSO already handles that. When creating a post the Wordpress user should be able to choose where in the forum the thread will be created. On the vbulletin side the thread should be posted by the user posting through Wordpress, again the VBSSO bridge should make it simple to assure the correct user id is being used.

This plugin will need to be able to work as Wordpress and Vbulletin are updated over time.
