Project Description

Looking to develop an integrated Facebook application based on their new development platform. Using custom FBML (Facebook Markup Language) and PHP. There will be some significant integration between our company's services, XML feeds and Flash.

Specific details about the Facebook development platform can be found at [url removed, login to view]

The application needs to have built in functions for sharing media, information and music playlists between your Facebook friends.

Mini Flash applications for highlighting music albums and bands/artists and comparing music charts about the types of music you and your friends are listening to.

Most data will be queried and generated through XML.

The application should be no larger than 2-3 individual PHP scripts using the Facebook api.

The total number of viewable pages within the application should be no more than 4-5 pages.

Must look professional, some CSS design required, other visiual elements will be supplied to you. Layout and understanding of spacial issues and use of white space on the page is critical.

Understanding of the interaction and manipulation of photo galaries inside of Flash helpful, but not required.

Understanding of XML display in Flash/Flex also helpful.

Minor MySQL integration required. Need the ability to capture User IDs and preference settings and display content according to the preference settings.

Application will require heavy conditional formats throughout, display specific types of information for specific people who view the application.

Additional understanding of multi media distribution is a plus.
