Project Description

An existing authorization of our existing PHP application should be used (based on sessions). We are looking for a solution that allows our workgroup to simplify their handling of RSS feed. Our workgroup is currently 100 people and the solution shall help to simplify RSS subscriptions and make them more stable while people change roles or leave. 1) Feed Management This page for each editor shall help him to set up the subscription. a) Import feeds User can import either URLs of feeds or OPML files that have feed URLs in. Additionally he can edit and delete existing subscriptions here. The design should be resemble [url removed, login to view] but could be much simpler. b) subscribe and export The user can either export all his subscriptions as an OPML or subscribe to ONE feed. If the user subscribes to the feed he will get all items of these feeds as one feed. 2) MEGA Feed In order to do that we need to give him a unique URL he subscribes to. When he is requesting the feed all subscribed feeds are collected based on his subscriptions and at run-time parsed into this new 'megafeed'. This feed should be in RSS 2.0 and should be as simple as possible besides that.
