The Find-A-Part program will be providing a form post, of variable named XML, containing the information of the product which the user wishes to purchase. The variable will be defined as follows:

Usually a number

Each of the items:

1. Item,

2. ItemID,

3. Description,

4. Quantity,

5. Price,

6. DimensionA, and

7. DimensionB

## Deliverables

Needed:

The data from the post must be parsed into variables, which can then be stored in a database, with the provided stored procedures. You will know the item has been added to the database (Shopping Cart) if you search the shopping cart and find the item, AAA, located in the basket with ID, CART_NUMBER. If the item was added to the database successfully, you must return a xml string through the same connection used to receive the item, stating the item was successful in adding it, or failed. The xml string back to the Find-A-Part program must be defined as follows:

The message that the user is shown via JavaScript’s alert() statement

With status="success" if successful or status ="failure" if not.
