Project Description

Hello,

I currently use a Flat File hosting script and want to add a multi server feature to the script. A upgrade for a "random server" option has already been made, but I want a true multi server option.

Currently all changes are made from the admin panel for the script. The multi server options should be able to be made from the admin panel as well. What I will need to have done is an Icon added to the admin panel for the "Servers" option. Once inside that page I will need to be able to add a server, deleter a server as well as turn the servers on or off as far as allowing uploads to that server. A simple check box for on or off would be fine.

An example would be if you added server 1, server 2 & server 3. All three of those servers would show on that page but you would need to be able to select on/off to allow uploads to that server. The way it works now is that you have to manually edit the [url removed, login to view] file to add or remove a server and if you want to keep the server but have it turned off for uploading, you have to put the slashes in front of it as in ///. The whole script used to be handled this way but now all options are done from the admin panel and the script updates the config file automatically. So this will need to work in the same way.

This script is not mysql, it uses a very simple flat file system. I would prefer to not have to upload a copy of the entire script to the slave servers. I will attach some pictures of how it should look once this project is posted as well as links to the script.

This will not be the only project I need done. This is the first of about 5 or 6 that I need done to this script. So if this project goes well, you will get additional work if you want it.

I don't have a hard budget in mind, so I just chose one from the drop down, so bid accordingly.
