Project Description

I need experienced character rigging/skinning MAYA artist that can do some work on our character animation.


Project skill requirements:

Need 1 (one) Seasoned Maya character rigging and skinning artist, both body and facial rig

Will Rig 3 Cartoon Characters, pictures of rendered 3d models ready for rig will be posted for strong candidates
only (by personal mail).

If you have watch oscar's oasis short animation series (youtube), this is what I'm going to aim for the character rig setup.

Rigging and skinning for body to facial rigging setup, including curve based, or additional script if necessary.

Extensive knowledge on motion system, deformation, fur setup, some programming/MEL scripting for character setup will be a BIG plus.

NOTES:

Candidates must agree and have all working process from start to finish with camtasia recorded sessions
during work duration. No need to edit the recorded videos. Not necessarily to have sound. Visual are the most important in this recorded sessions.

No daily completed recordings done and uploaded, means you don't follow our project guidelines, and

project cancelled with no further discussion.

You might want to split recording each session is 1 hour max duration, to avoid oversized video files to be uploaded.

Each recording of finished day session will be uploaded daily to specific private ftp server or private file hosting I established for this projects only.

Working sessions recorded must show clear techniques, easy to be reviewed, and has top notch rigging and

skinning quality. It's okay if there's some redo or re-rig or some errors during work in progress recordings, I don't seek edited videos, I will do the edit and video cleanup of recordings by myself.

Candidates agreed to work under Non Disclosure Agreement I provided later when a candidate is chosen.

For body rigging, must apply stretchy bones and some secondary motion setup for some body parts whenever

applicable. Will be discussed about this later when project started.

For Facial rigging, either spline rigging or curve based rigging or other newest/robust facial rigging

techniques (you might suggest me which best for the final result) must be used.

Project must be done consecutively in 2 weeks for those 3 characters.
Daily communication or reports by email or skype chat or ym is mandatory. I need to track the WIP on daily basis.
