Project Description

We are the Pardee Center for International Futures, a research institution at the University of Denver. We are looking to build a database management system and visualization console/interface.

The database has query functionalities as well as an import data wizard and vetting interface. The initial data we would like to import and use is country-based data over time. Some of this data is also dyadic so expertise in this type of data entry and querying is preferred. All of the functions are defined in detail in the attached documents. The document makes reference to slides in the attached power point.

The visualization console will provide an easy way for users to "see" the uploaded data. We would like to be able to add visualizations in the future as well. All of the visualization functions are explained in more detail in the attached document.

This will be an ongoing project with more functions to be added. In addition, we would eventually like to build an online community that works with this data.

We recognize the diverse set of skills this project will require so we would like to hire a firm with programmers with the required specialized skills.
