Dataset: US Patents

I need two datasets containing some new variables constructed out of 4 existing flat files that are available online (these large are files). In step 1, I describe the relations between these four flat files for merging purposes. In the second step, I need some new variables to be created using the linked data created in step 1. I then need these new variables output into two flat files that are preferably in either SAS or STATA format. We are not concerned about which database tools are used to merge the data (e.g. SQL, etc.). Ideally, the output should not be in csv/excel format. The attached file provides more details on steps 1 and 2. Note: We previously tried to have an MS Access DB created along these dimensions which appeared too cumbersome and did not work.
