Project Description

I need a script or other program that will run on an Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2008 server and extract emails sent to a specific users inbox in Exchange 2007, then write those emails out, including the full internet header into a text file with a unique filename in a folder I specify. I would like the program to also optionally delete emails from the inbox after extracting them. The program will be called as a? scheduled? job, so it must run as such and not require interaction with the desktop.

Parameters supplied:?

- User Name and? Password for the email account.

- Delete or simply mark as read the emails in the inbox.

- folder to which to write the emails as text.

I can enable POP3 or make other changes on the users account. I have full administrative rights on the server.

It is critical that the program be tested and actually function in the environment, as other programs which work in other environments do not seem to function here. If you can't test on an SBS2k8/Exch2k7 platform before delivering, please do not bother to bid.

I would prefer a vbscript in classic ASP or .NET, but would accept just about anything that works. I would prefer something that can be compiled or edited without purchasing an expensive development system. Full source must be provided along with a specification for the development environment.

## Deliverables

I can not give access to the worker to install or test the software on the server (it isn't possible, console access only) so I will need to install, configure and test the result myself. I should be able to do that, as I have a few years experience in that area (LOL) but the Worker will have to trust that I can do that, and provide whatever minor guidance and troubleshooting required.
