Looking for experienced and published patent writing individuals, para legals, lawyers or teams to write a patent for the our organization. This particular patent is related to software design & architecture (process and method) for retail industries vertical. The software system is already completed and in demonstration phase with end customers at this moment. Total pages for patent writing are approximated at 15 and will also include approximate 10 pages figures of process flow, algorithms and illustrations. All figures are ready with us and will be provided to the selected candidate. The figures might need some change based on the sharing of information further in the project. All changes to the figures etc will be done by us as per the recommendation of the freelancer and hence for figures, the freelancer will advise. The end result of this project is 100% ready "TO BE FILED" document with the USPTO patent office in the United State of America. We have approximate 10 patents to be written in pipeline to be completed within 3 months (by end of Q1, 2014). All patents are related to electronics, communications technologies, mobile and/or smartphone based app/application technologies, network infrastructure and software design and architecture. Selected freelance/s who are demonstrated experience in the above said will be given preference. Preference will also be give to lawyers or paralegal with specific set of field experience. " I doubt that any documents prepared by someone not a registered patent practitioner would be ready to be filed. I specialize in preparing patents for clients that are new to patenting. My flat rate for a provisional patent application is $500, which does not include the patent office filing fee of $125. My flat rate for a non-provisional patent application is $4,000 which does not include the patent office filing fee of about $625. My flat rate for a patentability search is $475. Hello, IntelliFreelance, Your posting does not specify whether you are interested in preparing and filing Provisional Patent Applications or "regular" Utility Patent Applications. It is often the case that a startup or a group launching a new product or service will opt for the Provisionals, both to save cost and to enable speedy preparation and filing of the patent applications. You also describe a series of another ten or so patent applications that need to be prepared and filed. If these are related to one another, they may share some of the specification language and diagrams, and flow diagrams, which saves on preparation time and cost. I don't know if this is the case with your project. I do have some experience in preparing patent applications in electronics, communication technologies, mobile communication devices, and software applications. Please refer to US Patent Application Publication No. 2005/0102382 for an example. I am entering a bid of 560 presuming that your project is for a Provisional Patent Application. I make this presumption on your indication that another fifteen pages are needed to basically complete the writeup. This bid would also include filing online, unless you wished to file the application yourself. The cost for preparing a Utility patent application would be more, depending upon the information provided in your writeup, and the length of the final application document.
