Project Description

I am a Project Manager and I have been asked to look into a simple automation test that my company would set for testers at interview. It is important that:
- Fiddler2 is used as part of the process
- I can easily follow the steps involved so I can see and understand how REST tests are used
- I don't just need an answer, I need to be able to copy, change, edit the process myself to understand how it works.
- The test outlined below links to heroku sites that you will not be able to access however if you use your own token link then I can them add in the correct 'amido' link myself

Here is the test I need someone to do, and to be able to show me clearly the steps involved in completing the test.

REST Test
Please write a set of automated tests for the following user story

In order to keep my account secure
as a user
I want to be able to update my password
The updated password should be MyNewPassword

API Reference
All services require JSON

Auth Token Service
All services require an auth token in the header. example format Authorization:bearer {token such as 12345678}
Calling this service will provide a valid token which can be used to call the user REST api.
URL: [url removed, login to view]
VERB: GET

User Object

{"name":"Joe", "password":"MyCurrentPassword","contact":[{"tel":"01234567890","mob":"07890123456"}]}

This service endpoint can be called to create a user.
The new user uri will be returned in the relevant header.

Get, Update and Delete a User
This service endpoint can be called with the relevant verb to get, update or delete a user.
URL: [url removed, login to view]{UserId}

This test is set to testers during interview at our company so really should not take more than 30mins to an hour to complete.
