Project Description

Hello,

I have a simple lifting device which already has key components selected as per prior engineering work done. What remains is the selection of the connecting gear mechanism.

Job description:
1- I will provide the specs of the components already selected, the dimensional parameters or the device, two gear configuration sketches I think should work and the required lift weight.
2- You will analyze the information provided and recommend the best gearing configuration and offer a better configuration if you feel it would be better.
3- Once the gearing configuration is determined, you will source all the specific parts necessary: gears, bearings, mounts fasteners etc., from domestic (USA) suppliers and communicate exactly which components they are to me via their online hyperlinks from the suppliers. I have a few suppliers to recommend to add to any you may recommend.
4- I will order the specific parts and test them on a prototype I will make.
5- If it works as needed, you will the prepare a complete set of CAD drawing sheets which include each part, exploded view of the assembly and BOM. The CAD files can be in Solidworks or AutoCAD software no older than version 2010.
6- If it doesn't work, you will analyze my feedback and make recommendations until a properly working prototype is [url removed, login to view] includes possibly needing to source different specific components again or change to a different mechanical configuration.
7- You will be paid immediately and in the entirety after this job is successful and complete. You will not be paid an up front deposit, for trying, or for an incomplete job. However if you do an excellent job, a bonus may be added.

Please include when you can get started and your estimated time for completion for steps 1-3.

I look forward to your bid.
