Project Description

Hi there. I need somebody to transcribe about 3.5-4 hours of audio interviews. You will need to have a very good level of English and some basic science knowledge. The interviews are with palaeontologists/scientists talking about the work they are doing. If I'm happy with this work there will be ongoing interviews to transcribe over the next 6 months.

I require delivery of the transcripts within a week, and they must be completed to a high standard. I will pay via Paypal. Please let me know if you think you can help.

Cheers, John

This is an example of the kind of text:

"This trend reached its apex when the first feathered dinosaur fossils were discovered in China in the mid-1990s. Then not only did you have dinosaur that were skeletally very similar to birds but which also had feathers. Since that first feathered dinosaur fossil of Sinosauropteryx turned up, many more dinosaurs have been found with feathers and very birdlike behaviours – in a fossilised sense. Nests, birds on top of nests – all very similar to what you see in birds. These trends have all continued, so that these days it’s a very small, albeit fairly vociferous, minority of palaeontologists who don’t believe it. Everyone else is more or less signed up to it. The palaeontologists who don’t believe it, very interesting, can provide no viable alternative for the origin of birds."
