Project Description

A very smal project.

This project is an addition to an existing product.

I need an automatic label-creator. Data from MS Access 2007 (or 2010) and printed from MS Word 2007 (or 2010). It is to be used on school-books.

I have 2 tables with a one-to-many reltionship. The "one"-table is for books (title;author;year etc.) The many-table holds 1 specific book (of that book).

The user pickes a book from a drop-down-menu and writes in a field how many labels he wants.

The system finds the biggest ID in the many-table and adds 1. Then the system will create labels in word using the info from the "one"-table (book-title etc.) and the full ID (made up from both the ID in the "one"-table and the ID in the "many"-table. That means each of the labels will be differnt from eachother (the number will be different).

The labels will be printed on a label printer and put on the books. The books will be stored inn the DB (in the "many"-table).

You will get from me:
1. The two tables
2. Layout of the lable
3. A form that shows the style (colors etc.) of the existing system. I expect the form to use the same colors, fonts etc.
4. The brand of the label-printer

I will get back:

1. A form where the user can choose from the books, set a number and push a "start"-button.
2. A word template for the lables.
