Project Description

1. Create [url removed, login to view] Windows Service (downloader)
a. Download files from an FTP server(s) and place them in the download directory. The program will need to keep track of the files that have been downloaded in order to avoid duplicates. This should use a lightweight SQLite database to store and track files that have been downloaded from each server. Tracking should include filename, date and size. I have licensed components from (Chilkat and Kellerman for FTP)
b. Remove files older than X days
c. Execute a program to process the downloaded files after downloading
move any files that don’t process(still in directory) to a manual processing folder
d. Move any files that don’t process(still in directory) to a manual processing folder. Files that remain after processing command is complete should be moved to a directory for manual processing. This situation occurs when there are duplicate files in the archive
e. Use XML configuration files to setup the service. Configurable list of ftp server/download directories. I will need to be able to configure the following items
--Global (Default)
--Download Directory
--Process Files Command Line
--Manual Processing Directory
--Archive Program Command Line
--Days Before Archive
--Days To Track Duplicates
--Servers
--Host
--Port
--Server Type (SFTP,FTPS,FTP) (I can provide licensed libraries for Chilkat and Kellerman FTP)
--Username
--Password
--Passive
--Download Locations
---Path
---Download Mask
--Download Directory
--Process Files Command Line
--Archive Directory
--Manual Processing Directory
--Processing Program Command Line
--Days Before Archive
--Days To Track Duplicates
--Days Before Removing Files
--Schedule
--Schedules
2. Create a small Winforms app that will allow me to create and edit the configuration files
a. Option to encrypt the config. If I want to give the service to a friend and not give away the credentials I would like to be able to encrypt the config to keep my passwords and limit their ability to edit/change the configuration.
