Project Description

The following Program is to be written in RealBasic (which is very similar to visual basic). All source code MUST accompany the program so the program can be compiled and run on my own computers.

I want a computer program to monitor the health of users by recording their heights and weights and calculating their BMI (Body Mass Indicator) using the following to categorise their condition:

Underweight: BMI <18.5
Ideal weight: BMI >= 18.5 and <25
Overweight: BMI >25

The program will then calculate and display the number of people in each category so that suitable activities can be planned for the users.

How the program should work:

Entering weight and height details:
The members weights (in Kilograms) and heights (in meters) entered into the system must be greater than 0.

Calculating the BMI:
The program will calculate the BMI of each of the club members using the following formula:
BMI = (Weight in kilograms)/(Height in meters)2

Storing the BMI:
The data of users should be stored in a suitable data structure.

Calculating the number of club members in each BMI category:
The program should then calculate the numbers of club members in each group.

Displaying the numbers in each BMI category:
The output from the program should be in some form of table displaying all heights in meters, weights in kilograms, and corresponding BMIs.

The height, weight and BMI should be displayed to one decimal place.

A text file with a written specification slightly more detailed to this one given above has also been uploaded.

I need it to be fully commented and I also need it to be as simplistic as possible so that a beginner could understand it, please avoid using any advanced techniques should you take this on.

Please feel free to message me if you have any queries.
