Project Description

Please note I am not willing to pay more than $30 for this project.
Please do not bid any higher on this project as it is a very simple and quick code change.

I have a program in Visual Basic 6 that works on Windows XP (32-bit).
I need someone to fix it so that it also works on Windows-7 (64-bit).

Please see the current code in VB6 attached (works for Windows XP).

The attached code in VB6 allows me to do the following:

1) Make PC go into Standby Mode.
This currently works for both Windows XP and Windows7.
You don’t need to do any changes to this part of the code.

2) PC Recognizes when it comes out of Standby mode and displays a message.
This currently works for both Windows XP and Windows7.
You don’t need to do any changes to this part of the code.

3) Make PC go into Hibernation Mode.
This currently only works on Windows XP.
In Windows-7 it makes the PC shut down.
Please fix this part of the code so that it will work on Windows-7 (64-bit) to make the PC go into Hibernation Mode.

4) PC Recognizes when it comes out of Hibernation mode and displays a message.
This currently only works on Windows XP only.
Please fix this part of the code so that it will work on Windows-7 (64-bit) to make the PC recognize when it comes out of Hibernation Mode and display a message.

5) Change the Windows boot-up image.
This currently only works on Windows XP only.
Please fix this part of the code so that it will work on Windows-7 (64-bit) to allow me to change the boot-up image to any image that I choose from my computer.
The computer should then display my image when the computer is booting up after shut down – no longer display the BIOS image or Windows-7 boot-up image.
