As an experienced Filemaker Developer new to this site I thank you for reading my proposal.
I have over 15 years experience as a Filemaker Developer and Consultant working on various projects locally and some international work.
I have worked on many communication interfaces for Filemaker including call center solutions, business CRM and contact solutions.
The method I propose is utilized using freeware and open source software for the VOIP backend. This works very well for all my current deployments and can also be used with multiple devices on the same line. For example..
The staff can select the contact or supplier from a list
The staff can perform a single click that will dial the number
If the staff member has a VOIP desk phone, this phone will ring and the staff member can complete the call using the desk phone. If the staff member does not have a desk phone, the call will continue through the computers softphone.
I have a solution tried, tested and ready to go.
If you can give me details as to how many users you wish to deploy, or if you are just after the files to deploy yourself. And what systems it will be running on, Filemaker Version, PC or Mac etc.
