Project Description

Project Name: Global Search Sector Leader

Project Overview: Our client is looking to recruit an Aviation Leader and a Retail Leader at Director/Principal level to join their leadership team. The Aviation Leader will be based in WA or SE Asia and the Retail Leader will be based in VIC or NSW. Maven are undertaking a global search and need global researchers to identify these people as the skills and capability required for these roles are specialised and the market in Australia and Asia will be quite limited. To ensure the most thorough research is conducted, the search needs to go global. Ideally we would like to put together a team of researchers with one person located in each region – UK/EMEA, Asia, US, Australia. There is the potential for the researcher to increase their workflow and work for Maven on a more permanent or part-time basis if this search goes well.

Market to Research: Global – Architecture, Development, PM, Consulting and Engineering firms

Timing: 7 - 10 days to complete the research element commencing 21/10/2013
7 - 10 days weeks to complete third party confirmation commencing 30/10/2013

RESEARCHER
Skills/Experience: We are looking for researchers with previous experience, preferably in the recruitment industry. They need to have excellent written and verbal skills in English language and should have examples of previous projects they have worked on.

CANDIDATE
Skills/Experience: The ideal candidates for this project will have the following skills/level expertise/attributes:-

AVIATION LEADER
▪ Degree in Architecture
▪ 15 – 20 years post graduate experience
▪ Specific experience working within the aviation sector, preferably within architecture industry
▪ Proven leadership skills and track record in winning and delivering projects in aviation
▪ an understanding of market trends and sound technical knowledge with the ability to engage in high level discussions with key clients

RETAIL LEADER
▪ Degree in Architecture
▪ 15 – 20 years post graduate experience
▪ Specific experience working within the retail sector, preferably within architecture industry
▪ Concept design skills
▪ Proven leadership skills and track record in winning and delivering projects in retail
▪ an understanding of market trends and sound technical knowledge with the ability to engage in high level discussions with key clients and talk design


Required Information: Maven require the following information from our researchers:-

▪ Research and create list companies that the candidate could possibly come from, this can and should be done by region.
▪ Research and create candidate list of potential candidates
▪ Research candidate biography including education, work experience, career history, project history, specific role descriptions, achievements, publications.
▪ Identify possible sources and their contact details for third party confidential information, i.e. past colleagues, clients, project teams, etc.
▪ Qualify biography information by making source calls and gaining third party confidential information pertaining to work style, communication ability, presentability, personality, leadership style, inside knowledge on projects, qualify if the candidate was a business developer involved in winning work.
▪ Compile information in a spreadsheet report format.
▪ Daily reporting
